FREELANCE TRAINING IN ATTACHMENT & TRAUMA FOR EDUCATIOn PROFESSIONALS
Emma combines a background in psychology with her experience as a teacher, trainer and an adoptive parent to deliver an introductory session on attachment and trauma, aimed at professionals who work with vulnerable children in educations settings of all varieties.
The main aim of her workshop is that delegates leave with a better awareness and understanding of key issues in trauma and attachment, how these issues present in children’s behaviour and armed with some key strategies to support children in educational settings. There are plenty of opportunities for discussion and sharing of good practice.
She runs an open workshop on behalf of the Centre for Adoption Support & Education, and is available to come into education settings to deliver a 3.5 -hour session on a freelance basis. Enquire via email: info@spillaneconsulting.co.uk
PROFESSIONAL SINGING
Emma is a classically trained musician, having taken up the piano and violin from an early age. Vocally she has performed with several auditioned choirs over the years, including the Bristol Schools Choir and the University of Kent Chamber Choir in a wide variety of prestigious venues across the UK and Europe. Emma has also sung at a handful of weddings and christenings and performed solos in a variety of concerts locally.

She now trains with Claire Delaney, creator and Producer of House of Broadway, and is enjoying expanding a set list for performances with a soul/easy-listening vibe (think Brand New Heavies, Fugees, Dionne Warwick).
