Spillane Consulting is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Emma Spillane acts as Data Controller and Processor, while Associates may occasionally take on the role of Processor. This policy explains how we use the information we collect about you. 
 

General data storage principles
 

• We only hold client information that is required for us to complete the work we are paid to do and to invoice the client for that work. We are not interested in holding any unnecessary personal information.

 

• The only information that we store is in direct relation to a client with whom we have entered into a work contract with.

 

• Client work is held securely in the Dropbox cloud, whose servers are based in the U.S. Dropbox complies with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks.

 

• All work will be kept on file for a period of 12 months. After this time, work will be permanently deleted from all backups, unless otherwise instructed.

 

• You have rights relating to our storage and use of your personal data including:  
   

The right to be forgotten - where you can ask us to delete all personal data relating to you

The right to object - you can say no to certain data use such as profiling for marketing purposes.

The right to rectification - you can ask us to have incomplete data completed.

The right of access - you have the right to know what data is being processed and how.

 

• You also have the right to raise a complaint with the ICO if you are unhappy with the way we have collected, stored or used your personal data. 

 

• We are happy to discuss data security and to sign confidentiality agreements as required as we realise that confidentiality is very important and that we may be required to handle sensitive information.

Information collected for the purposes of invoicing clients

 

In order to invoice clients and monitor income efficiently, we make use of Invoicely. We only collect the information necessary to complete each invoice (contact name, organisation, email address, company address), and Invoicely’s Privacy Policy can be found here: https://invoicely.com/legal/privacy. Information collected when using our Website
